R. Steven LeGall, LFD

Owner/Manager

A 1983 graduated of the prestigious American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Directing in New York City. Steven has been associated with the funeral industry for over twenty-five years.

Steven is presently owner and manager of the R. Steven LeGall Home for Funerals LLC, a first generation funeral home dedicated to serving bereaved families from all walks of life.

Steven is married to Averille, and is the father of three children, Ingrid, Courtney, and Daria.

Averille LeGall

Vice President/Co-Owner

Averille LeGall is the Vice President of the company. Averille is presently an Administrative Assistant with the Concorde Medical Group. As co-owner of the R. Steven LeGall Home for Funerals LLC, Averille works behind the scenes to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

Averille was born on the sunny island of Barbados, West Indies. She likes to read and travel. Averille is the proud mother of Daria.

Daria LeGall

Potential Funeral Director

             Daria is the daughter of Steven and Averille.  She a graduate of the prestigious Packer Collegiate Institute's Class of 2012. Daria is listed among "Who's Who" in secondary schools students. She currently attends The University of New Haven, where she studies Forensic Chemistry. After completing her degree, Daria plans on attending the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, where she will pursue a career in funeral directing, following in her father's footsteps.

Ronald LeGall

Vice President/Co-Owner

Ronald is the older brother of Steven. He is in charge of vehicle maintenance, and operations manager.

Ronald, a celebrated Corrections Officer, retired from the line of duty, achieving many honors.

Sekou K. Johnson

Funeral Director

Sekou K. Johnson is a qualified and licensed funeral director for the State of New York. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Directing.

 Sekou was born and raised on the island of Grenada and brings a real understanding of the unique funeral rites and traditions of the different Caribbean islands. His travels throughout Europe and the U.S.A. also afforded him understanding of the critical role of a Funeral Director in the delivery of superior yet sensitive service for various cultures. Sekou’s commitment to his profession motivates him to stay abreast with the latest advances in the Industry. As a father and the eldest son of a large family he is well-experienced in the role of care-taker to others in their time of need.
